Mike Le Couteur

Born and raised in Montreal, Mike has been with Global Television Quebec almost since day one. He started as an intern on the late night sports show Sportsline while studying at Concordia University. After completing his BA in Broadcast Journalism he joined the Global team full-time.

Mike loves to dive into his work. Wherever the assignment desk sends him you can be sure he'll come back with an interesting angle on the story of the day. From the courthouse to city hall, Mike is front and center when events unfold. But the one memory that stands out from the others is, without a doubt, witnessing Saku Koivu's triumphant comeback after battling cancer.

When he's not on assignment, Mike enjoys playing hockey, basketball, softball or whatever sport he can jump into.
