Caroline
Plante is living proof that a little determination goes a long way. After
completing a Graduate Diploma in International Journalism from Laval
University, and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Communications from
Concordia University, Caroline headed to London England to study at City
University.
As a
student she was told by a professor that she would never be an intern at the
prestigious BBC because "over a million people apply for work placements
every year and they only take a select few". Well, Caroline did make it to
the BBC where she got to work on a program called BBC World and the first guest
she was asked to book for the show? Arafat himself.
Caroline
has also worked for CBC Newsworld in Toronto and Radio-Canada in Winnipeg,
Manitoba. After spending three years in Winnipeg, Caroline has now happily
settled in Quebec City where she is Global Quebec's correspondent at the
National Assembly.
