Bridge repairs force Via Rail to use buses between Montreal and Gaspe region

MONTREAL - Bridge repairs are forcing Via Rail to use buses to carry passengers on a route between Montreal and the Gaspe region in eastern Quebec.

Inspections on the Grand-Pabos bridge in Chandler, last week revealed damage to one of its pillars and passengers have been put on buses for the New Carlisle part of the trip since then.
